This isn't just a business idea to me. Earlier in my life, I went through a period of poor health that included having a heart monitor surgically implanted — spending months genuinely disconnected from what was going on inside my own body, relying entirely on doctors and equipment to tell me what I couldn't feel or see for myself.
That experience stayed with me. It's part of why I care so much about giving people everyday awareness of their own heart rate, sleep, and recovery — not as a replacement for medical care, but as a way to actually notice patterns, changes, and habits long before they'd ever need a hospital visit to find out. Something I didn't have the option of back then.
Rivva exists because I believe that kind of awareness shouldn't be locked behind a premium price tag or a monthly subscription. It should be something anyone can just put on. Our products solve real problems with clean design and honest materials.
